Malls in Lagos

Hi everyone. Remember the post about fun places that are near me? This time, I’m writing on the malls that are near me. Remember I also told you that I live in the middle so I have access to a lot of places around including malls; if you don’t have anywhere particularly fun around you, as long as you have a mall around, you’re good to go. So I’m going to give you a list of the best
malls around me mad perhaps-perhaps around you.
1. Adeniran Ogunsanya mall: This mall is on Adeniran Ogunsanya street in Surulere. It’s popularly called Shop-rite because more often than not, when there’s a Shop-rite inside a mall, people tend to call it Shop-rite rather than the actual name of the mall. It has
three cinema screens in it, a number of stores and restaurants with the popular ones being KFC and Cold-stone and of course, a Shop-rite. People usually go there to watch movies or shop.
2. Leisure mall: This mall is directly beside Adeniran Ogunsanya mall. Wait, not directly directly but it’s like three buildings away from Adeniran Ogunsanya shopping mall. This mall also has a number of stores and restaurants including a Mr. Price now turned Spar.
Remember Adeniran Ogunsanya mall has 3 screens? Leisure mall also has three screens so 3 plus 3 make 6 for one company. It has a 7d place as well and lastly has a connecting door into Adeniran Ogunsanya shopping mall mall making it easy for people to move
between both malls. Cool, yes?
3. Maryland mall: Just like when I talked about fun places and mentioned Maryland mall, it’s of course going to fall under here. Maryland mall has restaurants with one of the popular ones being The Place, stores, a Shop-rite and a cinema. People go here to see
movies because really, most malls that have cinemas are only full because of the cinema and its movies.
4. Ikeja mall: Ikeja City Mall popularly known as ICM and of course Shop-rite, lol is actually one of the most popular malls in Lagos. I personally feel it’s because ICM is in Ikeja and Ikeja is the capital of Lagos so of course, popular ICM. ICM has a cinema and restaurants
and stores like KFc, Chicken Republic, Coldstone and Debonairs pizza. It also has a good amount of parking space and is easily findable. So of course, if you live around Ikeja, ICM is the way to goo.
5. The Palms, Lekki: This mall is one of the classiest malls that are close to me. It’s on the island so it’s the island folk that go to this mall. Of course like the rest of the malls, it has stores, restaurants, a Shop-rite and a cinema, as well. It’s been ages since I went to this
particular mall because although it’s not far, it’s still on the island and the island feels very distant most times. If you love on the island, The Palms is definitely for you.
6. E-center: I don’t know if I should call this a mall because the me is pretty much entertainment center but yeah, e-center has stores and restaurants and a cinema. It also has some games in its game center and a 5d location outside In-fact nobody calls it
e-center, everyone calls it Ozone which is the name of the cinema. It’s not as fun as the other malls because stores gradually seem to be leaving it and I really don’t know what’s going to happen to it in a couple of years but at least you can still watch a good movie at
the cinema there.
7. Novare mall, Ajah:  it’s very far and all the way in Ajah and Ajah is the much father end of the island. This mall though, this mall is the biggest mall in Lagos, I think. The parking space is massive and the mall itself is big. It has a Shop-rite and stores and restaurants. So if you live around Ajah and you want a pretty place with variety, Novare mall is the mall for you. So there you have it, a list of malls that are near me and you can visit to explore or to actually buy something or watch a movie. I apologize for being repetitious with the stores and restaurants; it seemed too stressful to start mentioning all of them. Also remember that most of these malls are also called ShopRite in case you’re looking for them and nobody seems to understand you when you mention their names. I hope you explore and have fun.
